ladybirds and pattern pages

Awful photos, my camera hates red and black and can't really handle the combination. I think it's broken actually, my dad has one the same that is fine. It is insured and I could make them sort it, but I use it every day. I don't want to send it off. I think I'd better though. Hopefully you get the idea despite the photos. I used a ball of Rowan Biggy Print and 9 mm needles (ball band suggested 20mm but I'm not about to knit with such ridiculous items - or spend money on them). Cast on 32 sts using long tail tubular cast on (I really should do that tutorial some time) and basically worked in 1x1 rib until I ran out of yarn. The last couple of right side rows I knit straight across to help it flare at the bottom. Then I used red crochet cotton and a 2.5 mm hook to crochet some button loops along one short side edge, leaving the bottom couple of inches free. Sewed on lady bird buttons to match the button loops. Voila! Super easy and super cute.

I think I've sorted all of the pattern pages so that they're working. At least they're working for me, but if you've got a minute I'd really appreciate it if you could take a look and let me know if you find any problems. Thankyou :)

The eagle eyed will have noticed that this new layout incorporates a link to an empty etsy shop. I said a while ago that I was going to make my own shop, but that ended up being way too much work. I really love etsy, so I was playing around with it and made a shop. You'll be the first to know when I have some stock.

it's going to be such a good day
