Beautiful Projects - Undyed

Beautiful Projects - Undyed

The past week it seems to me as if the internet has filled up with wonderful pictures of first snow falls, excited new pets playing in snow for the first time and cosy piles of knitting accompanied by cups of tea and snowy windows. Scotland however, is almost balmy (for December anyway!) I'm still optimistically hoping that things get a little more festive soon, so for today I had a look at some stunning projects all knitted up in white or undyed yarns.

A stunning, wintery Snapdragon tam, knitted up by Liina in an undyed wool yarn.

This toddler version of Coraline by FlickaFish is much loved by knitters on Ravelry, and her detailed notes on creating a small version of the adult sweater have helped many others to do the same!

This gorgous white Ishbel by SusanneS is so elegant.

There are many undyed Otto bears in the world, but this one in particular caught my eye. It was made by Wollknaeuel and she made a couple of small changes to the pattern which you can read about on her project page.

I love this Liesl, knitted by dish in an undyed silk and cotton tweed. She sums up this pattern perfectly - 'Fast, fun and simple - even though it looks complicated.'

And finally, a Jenny at the Fair from the Rhinebeck Sweater. It's so interesting to see this design knitted up in just two colours, and it really does work well. This version was made by georgievinsun.

                                                            'Tis the season...

'Tis the season...
